The wins keep coming as our TurfPrinter AIR was highlighted at the Golf Industry Show in Orlando last week. Geoff Shackelford with The Golf Channel made a point to stop by our booth to see what all the buzz was about and to talk with founder Pete Davis. The segment aired Saturday, February 11th on the Golf Channel.

Our TurfPrinter™ Air is making a big splash and we couldn't be more honored to win this award. This year marks the 28th Conference & Exhibition for the STMA, which premiered industry experts in sports turf technology innovations from across the globe. Within the exhibition, revolutionary performance standards are being set by a diverse group of stadium managers, turfgrass researchers, field builders and sports turf managers. New Ground Technology is thrilled to present alongside these companies to the thousands attending the popular show.

Lawn striping is often equated to vacuum cleaner type tracks left in the wake of turf mowing equipment. Historically, lawn stripes and simple geometric shapes started with rollers that were retrofitted onto sports field equipment. The purpose was to use reflected light from these tracks to enhance the esthetics of turf. Fast forward and learn from David Mellor’s book Picture Perfect. Mellor is arguably responsible for simple migrating stripes into art forms on sports fields. Today, David and others like John Ledwidge are among today’s most creative groundskeepers.
