JUNE 4, 2016 – NEW GREEN TECHNOLOGY IN THE NEWS (KCRA)
Preparing for the season opener, The Sacramento Rivercats, who played the Isotopes on Saturday worked with New Ground Technology, Inc. to utilize their new green technology at Raley Field. KCRA‘s Kathy Park reports on the exciting application of green equipment to create field imagery. She states, “Their machine can essentially bend the grass to show any digital image.”
Founder and inventor Pete Davis, when asked how the technology works provided a simple response. “The light and the dark stripes you see on a baseball field are nothing more than than a slight change in the angle of the turf. What we do is use air to force the turf one direction or the other.”

The news about this new green technology continues to spread at a rapid rate as many professional Major League Baseball teams also looking to get involved with similar applications for lawn art in their outfields.
